Some excellent photographs of our show at Uit Je Bak festival last Sunday.

Due to technical issue we had to go straight on stage and didn’t get any form of soundcheck, but we had a good time & played well. Great atmosphere there. Fun for young and old & lots of rock music too boot. An honour to be able to play straight after Moss.

We hung around for a while after the show & then went to the beach where we just dived into the sea at sunset. A great way to end a good day.

New gigs confirmed

A bunch of new Popronde gigs confirmed. Check our Gigs page for more info.

Looking forward to Sunday’s gig

We’ve been practicing in this incredible heat a few times to bring you a tight and actionpacked set on Sunday at Metropolis Festival in Rotterdam.

We’ll be playing around 15:50, and if we’re not mistaken it’s a free festival. With LOTS of cool bands (Adam Green, Tim Knol, Japandroids and many more). The weather’s looking good too. So come…

We’ll be selling hard copy versions of Smokescreens as well!

The last video of today: we were at Rob Stenders 3FM radio show last week. Our bass player Spif displayed some hilarious civil disobedience…

And we did a nice little interview for Freshvids as well.

Short, sound is crap, but hell, does it look cool…

New song!

Inspiration hit hard, so we’ve been back in the studio last weekend to record a new song! It’s called “go” (at least for now) and will be mixed and finished asap for your listening pleasure :)

New festival shows confirmed

LTTK will be playing some fine festivals this summer, including Metropolis in Rotterdam.

Some pretty cool pictures that Philip made of our Melkweg show last week.

Videos of our week at 3FM

We just realized we totally haven’t shared the love here of when we were at Rob Stenders two weeks ago. So here you go.
On Tuesday we went to an old people’s home.
On Wednesday we went to vote. (Not quite suitable for work and little kids, I’m afraid)
On Thursday we sang a song with a tv presenter.
And we got lots of press coverage.

Get your Foursquare Swarm badge tonight!

For those of you not sure whether to come to our show tonight in the Melkweg, here is another - albeit silly and ambitious - reason: get your Foursquare swarm badge. The swarm badge is one of the hardest to get (see http://thekruser.com/foursquare-badges/) it requires 50 users to checkin at a location.

Anyway for all our fans that are also foursquare users: come to the show and score that Swarm badge!

SMOKESCREENS

Finally, we’ve finished!

DOWNLOAD OUR ALBUM SMOKESCREENS HERE

You can pay what you want, so get it for free or give us money, it’s up to you!
Most important thing for us is to get it out there, so SPREAD THE LOVE!

Busy week!

This is the week! We’re finally releasing our album Smokescreens!

But first you can hear us embarrass ourselves on 3fm. We’re on Stenders’ Eetvermaak, every day mon-thurs from 12 to 2, doing silly stuff in exchange for airplay.

Then later in the week (still nice and vague) the album will go live. Downloadable on this site and our bandcamp, with other sources (itunes, mininova?) to follow, and you can pay what you want for it!

Then on Saturday 6 March you can buy the real deal (that’s a cd, for all you dinosaurs out there) when we’re opening for Go Back To The Zoo at the lovely Xinix in Nieuwendijk.

And if that’s a bit too far for you, then come see us open for Bombay Bicycle Club on Tuesday 9 March at the Melkweg in Amsterdam.

Hope to see you out there!
Cheers,
Mich
